1. Data Collection
WhatsApp Lead Responder ("the Extension") collects minimal data necessary for functionality. We collect your email address and a randomly generated, anonymous device identifier to validate your Pro license key or 14-Day Free Trial.
The Extension does not collect or transmit browsing history, personal messages, website content, or user activity. We do not track, read, log, or export your WhatsApp chats, contacts, or messages.
2. Local Storage
Your saved templates and snippets are stored entirely locally on your device within your browser's chrome.storage.local database. This data never leaves your computer and is never transmitted to our servers.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Your email address is used only for authentication and is verified against our secure backend (Supabase) and our payment provider (Lemon Squeezy).
4. Permissions Required
The Extension requests the following required Chrome permissions:
storage: To save your templates and license status locally.
- The Extension injects functionality only on https://web.whatsapp.com/* using content scripts.
